Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 1 October 2026
Welcome to the SpeedQuip Group online wholesale auto-parts stores. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of this website and any purchases made through the website.
By using this website, creating an account, requesting a quotation or placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions, subject to any rights and protections that apply under South African law.
1. About the SpeedQuip Group
The SpeedQuip Group operates a network of online wholesale auto-parts websites serving customers throughout South Africa.
The websites within the SpeedQuip Group may operate under different trading names and domains while sharing product catalogues, suppliers, warehouse stock, distribution arrangements, systems and fulfilment resources.
These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made through the applicable SpeedQuip Group website.
The SpeedQuip Group websites operate primarily as online wholesale auto-parts stores.
Online prices, promotions, availability and commercial terms may differ from prices offered through physical retail, trade-counter or other sales channels.
2. Wholesale Business Model
The SpeedQuip Group websites are primarily intended for customers purchasing auto parts for trade, business, workshop, fleet, resale or other commercial purposes.
Customers may include workshops, motor traders, parts resellers, fleet operators, mechanics, businesses and other trade customers.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude or restrict any statutory right or protection that applies to a particular customer or transaction.
3. Products and Product Information
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, specifications, images, vehicle applications, part numbers and other product information displayed on our websites are accurate and current.
However, information may occasionally contain errors, omissions or changes supplied by manufacturers, distributors, catalogues or other sources.
Product images may be representative and may not always show the exact packaging, branding or physical appearance of the supplied product.
Customers should verify that a product is suitable for the intended vehicle or application before placing an order.
Where necessary, we may request additional information including:
- Make and model
- Year
- Engine type
- Engine code
- VIN or chassis number
- Registration details
- Existing part number
- Photographs
- Dimensions or measurements
- Other identifying information
Providing vehicle or part information does not constitute a guarantee of compatibility unless compatibility has been specifically confirmed by the applicable SpeedQuip Group website or authorised representative.
4. Vehicle Fitment
Vehicle fitment information is provided as a guide.
Fitment may vary according to model year, engine, engine code, transmission, chassis, production date, market specification, vehicle modification and other vehicle variations.
The customer is responsible for providing accurate vehicle and fitment information.
Where a customer orders a part based on incorrect, incomplete or inaccurate information supplied by the customer, the return may be subject to the applicable Refund and Returns Policy, subject to applicable law.
If you are uncertain about fitment, contact the applicable SpeedQuip Group website before placing the order.
5. Online Wholesale Prices
All prices displayed on the applicable website are online wholesale prices and are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR), unless otherwise stated.
Online prices may differ from prices available through physical premises, trade counters or other sales channels.
Prices may change without prior notice.
A price change will not affect an order that has already been accepted and paid for, except where required by law or where an obvious pricing or listing error has occurred.
We reserve the right to correct obvious pricing, catalogue or listing errors.
6. Nationwide Warehouse Stock and Availability
The SpeedQuip Group operates a warehouse and distribution network across South Africa.
Product availability is determined across the SpeedQuip Group warehouse and distribution network rather than at any single warehouse or location.
A product may be displayed as In Stock where stock is available at one or more SpeedQuip Group warehouses or approved distribution locations.
Customers do not need to select or know which warehouse holds the stock.
Orders may be fulfilled from whichever applicable warehouse or distribution location has the required stock available.
The warehouse used to fulfil an order may therefore be located in a different province or area from the customer and may differ from the warehouse closest to the website’s business or administrative location.
If none of the applicable SpeedQuip Group warehouses or approved distribution locations has the product available, the product may be displayed as Out of Stock.
Stock availability may change between the time an order is placed and the time it is processed.
If a product becomes unavailable after an order is placed, we will contact the customer regarding the available options, which may include waiting for stock, supplying an appropriate alternative where agreed, cancelling the affected item or refunding an amount already paid, subject to applicable law.
7. Orders
Submitting an order through the website constitutes a request to purchase the selected products.
An order remains subject to payment confirmation, product availability and any necessary fitment or order verification.
We reserve the right to refuse, cancel or limit an order where reasonably necessary, including circumstances involving:
- Suspected fraud or unlawful activity
- Incorrect pricing
- Unavailable stock
- Duplicate orders
- Incorrect product information
- Supplier or stock limitations
- Technical errors
- Other circumstances affecting our ability to fulfil the order
Any cancellation or refund will be handled subject to applicable law.
8. Payment
Payment methods may include:
- Payfast
- Direct EFT / bank transfer
- Other payment methods made available through the applicable website
Payment must be successfully received and verified before an order is processed where the selected payment method requires advance payment.
For direct EFT orders, customers should use the order number as the payment reference.
An EFT order is not considered paid until the payment has been received and verified.
The SpeedQuip Group may delay processing an order until payment has cleared and been verified.
9. Quotations and Trade Pricing
Where a quotation, special price or trade price is provided, the quotation or pricing communication may contain specific validity periods, quantities, conditions or exclusions.
A quotation does not constitute acceptance of an order unless expressly stated otherwise.
Special, quoted or negotiated prices may differ from prices displayed on the website.
Unless otherwise stated, quotations are subject to product availability and supplier pricing.
10. Nationwide Delivery
The SpeedQuip Group delivers auto parts throughout South Africa.
Orders are fulfilled from our warehouse and distribution network and delivered to the customer’s nominated address, subject to applicable delivery charges and service availability.
Orders may be fulfilled from different warehouses or distribution locations depending on where the required stock is available.
The fulfilment location may therefore differ from the customer’s location.
Applicable shipping charges will be displayed or communicated before the order is completed.
Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by:
- Stock availability
- Warehouse processing
- Supplier availability
- Courier schedules
- Public holidays
- Weather
- Remote-area delivery requirements
- Incorrect customer information
- Circumstances outside our reasonable control
Customers must provide a complete and accurate delivery address, contact number and other information required for delivery.
The SpeedQuip Group is not responsible for delays resulting from an incorrect or incomplete delivery address or contact information supplied by the customer.
11. Delivery Inspection
Customers should inspect parcels as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.
If a parcel appears visibly damaged, customers should document the damage and contact the applicable SpeedQuip Group website as soon as reasonably possible.
Photographs of the packaging, shipping label and product may be requested to assist with a courier or product claim.
Customers should retain relevant packaging and documentation where a delivery or product claim is being investigated.
Nothing in this section limits any right that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
12. Returns, Refunds and Exchanges
Returns, refunds and exchanges are subject to the applicable Refund and Returns Policy published on the relevant SpeedQuip Group website.
Customers should contact the applicable website before returning a product so that the return can be authorised and processed correctly.
The applicable Returns Policy may contain specific conditions relating to:
- Incorrectly ordered parts
- Incorrect fitment information
- Special-order products
- Electrical and electronic components
- Installed or used parts
- Modified products
- Damaged products
- Missing packaging
- Products supplied specifically for a customer
- Products returned outside the applicable return period
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions or the applicable Returns Policy is intended to remove or restrict a statutory right that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
13. Incorrectly Ordered or Incorrectly Supplied Parts
If a customer receives a product that is different from the product ordered, the customer should contact the applicable SpeedQuip Group website as soon as possible.
If a customer orders an incorrect part because incorrect vehicle, fitment or product information was supplied, the return may be subject to the applicable Returns Policy and any costs permitted by law.
Customers should not install a part if they believe that the part supplied is incorrect.
Electrical, electronic, installed, modified, used or damaged parts may be subject to additional return conditions where permitted by applicable law.
14. Product Installation
The SpeedQuip Group recommends that vehicle parts be installed by a suitably qualified and competent person.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that products are installed correctly and safely and that the manufacturer’s installation instructions are followed.
The SpeedQuip Group is not responsible for damage caused by incorrect installation, modification, misuse, neglect or failure to follow applicable installation instructions, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any statutory guarantee, warranty, consumer right or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
15. Manufacturer Warranties and Product Guarantees
Where a product is supplied with a manufacturer’s warranty or guarantee, the applicable manufacturer’s terms may apply.
A manufacturer’s warranty does not replace any statutory rights that may apply to the customer.
Warranty claims may require inspection, testing, proof of purchase, installation information or other supporting documentation.
The SpeedQuip Group may require the product to be returned for assessment before a warranty claim can be finalised, where permitted by law.
16. Website Use
Customers agree not to:
- Misuse the website
- Attempt unauthorised access
- Interfere with website operation
- Introduce malicious software
- Scrape or reproduce website data without permission
- Use the website for fraudulent or unlawful purposes
- Place fraudulent or deliberately misleading orders
We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect the website, our business, suppliers or customers, subject to applicable law.
17. Accounts and Customer Information
Where an account is created, customers are responsible for keeping their account information accurate and maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.
Customers must notify us if they believe their account has been accessed without authorisation.
The SpeedQuip Group may suspend or restrict an account where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, non-payment or other legitimate business reasons, subject to applicable law.
18. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, website content including text, graphics, logos, product content, photographs, catalogues, databases, layouts and other materials is owned by or licensed to the applicable SpeedQuip Group website operator.
Such content may not be reproduced, copied, distributed or commercially used without permission, except as permitted by law.

20. Electronic Transactions
Orders submitted through the website may constitute electronic transactions.
The SpeedQuip Group will comply with applicable requirements governing electronic communications and transactions.
Where a statutory electronic-transaction right applies, it will be dealt with in accordance with applicable law.
The Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 regulates electronic communications and transactions in South Africa.
21. Consumer Protection
The SpeedQuip Group recognises that the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 may apply to particular transactions depending on the circumstances, customer and statutory requirements.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or waive a right, protection, guarantee or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
Where a transaction is subject to statutory consumer protections, those protections will apply.
Where a transaction is lawfully outside the scope of a particular statutory consumer protection, the contractual terms applicable to that transaction will apply.
22. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude or limit any right, guarantee, warranty or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Subject to applicable law, the SpeedQuip Group will not be responsible for losses arising from circumstances outside its reasonable control, including courier delays, supplier interruptions, third-party service interruptions, incorrect customer information or incorrect installation of products.
Nothing in this section limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by law.
23. Force Majeure
The SpeedQuip Group will not be responsible for delays or failure to perform obligations caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
Such circumstances may include natural disasters, severe weather, strikes, industrial action, civil unrest, government restrictions, transport interruptions, supplier failures, major technology failures, cyber incidents or other circumstances beyond reasonable control.
Where reasonably possible, affected customers will be informed of material delays and available options.
24. Website Errors and Availability
We make reasonable efforts to keep the websites operational and product information current.
However, websites may occasionally contain technical errors, incorrect information, unavailable products or temporary interruptions.
We may correct errors, update information, modify products or temporarily suspend website functionality where reasonably necessary.
25. Changes to These Terms
The applicable SpeedQuip Group website may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

9. Refund and Return policy
9.1 Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third-party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement. To this end, you may use the withdrawal function available. 9.2 Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods.
You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
Please note that there are some legal exceptions to the right to withdraw, and some items can therefore not be returned or exchanged. We will let you know if this applies in your particular case.
