SHIPPING & DELIVERY POLICY
Last Updated: 2 October 2026
1. INTRODUCTION
This Shipping & Delivery Policy applies to purchases made through the online stores operated by SpeedQuip Auto Parts (Pty) Ltd and the SpeedQuip Group (“TSG”).
TSG operates multiple online auto-parts stores and trading names that may share catalogues, suppliers, warehouse stock, distribution resources, systems and fulfilment facilities.
This policy explains how orders are processed, dispatched and delivered.
This policy should be read together with the TSG Terms & Conditions and Refund and Returns Policy.
2. COMPANY DETAILS
Legal Name: SpeedQuip Auto Parts (Pty) Ltd

3. ORDER PROCESSING
Orders are processed after payment has been received and the order has been accepted by TSG.
Orders may require additional processing time where:
- stock availability must be confirmed;
- stock needs to be transferred between TSG warehouse or distribution locations;
- vehicle fitment or product information requires confirmation;
- the order contains special-order or supplier-sourced products;
- payment requires verification;
- additional customer information is required; or
- a product becomes unavailable before dispatch.
Customers may be contacted where additional information or confirmation is required.
4. GROUP-WIDE STOCK AND FULFILMENT
TSG operates a group-wide stock and fulfilment system.
A product shown as “In Stock” may be available at one or more TSG warehouses, approved distribution locations or supplier-supported fulfilment points.
Customers do not necessarily need to select or know which warehouse will fulfil an order.
TSG may fulfil an order from whichever applicable warehouse or distribution location is able to supply the product.
Where a product is shown as “Out of Stock”, this generally means that the product is not available through the applicable TSG group fulfilment network at the time of the order.
5. DELIVERY AREAS
TSG delivers auto parts to customers throughout South Africa, subject to courier service availability and the delivery destination.
Delivery availability may vary depending on:
- the customer’s location;
- courier coverage;
- product size or weight;
- product characteristics;
- remote-area restrictions;
- public holidays;
- weather or other circumstances outside TSG’s control.
Additional delivery arrangements may be required for certain locations or products.
6. COURIER DELIVERY
Orders are normally delivered using TSG’s nominated courier or logistics providers.
TSG may select the appropriate courier based on:
- delivery destination;
- parcel size and weight;
- product requirements;
- availability;
- service coverage; and
- operational considerations.
Customers may receive tracking information where tracking is available for the applicable delivery service.
7. DELIVERY CHARGE
Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase, a standard delivery charge may apply to completed orders.
Where applicable, the delivery charge will be displayed during the ordering or quotation process.
Delivery charges may vary depending on the destination, order requirements, parcel size, weight or other courier conditions.
Any additional delivery charges applicable to a specific order will be communicated to the customer where reasonably possible.
8. DELIVERY TIMES
Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on:
- stock availability;
- order processing time;
- warehouse location;
- courier collection schedules;
- delivery destination;
- weekends and public holidays;
- remote-area delivery requirements; and
- circumstances outside TSG’s reasonable control.
A stated delivery period is not necessarily a guaranteed delivery date unless TSG has expressly confirmed a guaranteed delivery arrangement in writing.
9. STOCK TRANSFERS
Where a product is available within the TSG group network but is located at a different warehouse or distribution location, TSG may transfer the product before dispatch.
This may increase the processing or delivery time.
Customers will be advised where a significant delay is reasonably known before fulfilment.
10. PARTIAL ORDERS
Where an order contains multiple products and some products are not immediately available, TSG may:
- hold the order until the required products are available;
- dispatch available products separately;
- arrange a special-order or supplier delivery; or
- contact the customer to agree on an appropriate solution.
Additional courier charges will not normally be imposed solely because TSG chooses to split an order for its own operational reasons.
Where additional delivery costs arise because of a customer-requested split delivery or special arrangement, the applicable charges may be communicated to the customer before proceeding.
11. DELIVERY INSPECTION
Customers should inspect their order as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.
Customers should check:
- that the correct products were supplied;
- that the quantity received is correct;
- that packaging has not been visibly damaged; and
- that the products appear to correspond with the order.
Where packaging is visibly damaged, the customer should notify the courier where possible and contact TSG as soon as reasonably possible.
Any shortage, incorrect product or visible delivery damage should be reported promptly.
12. INCORRECT OR DAMAGED PRODUCTS
If a customer receives:
- an incorrect product;
- a product damaged during delivery;
- a product that is missing from the order; or
- another fulfilment error,
the customer should contact TSG as soon as reasonably possible.
TSG will investigate the matter and, where appropriate, arrange a replacement, collection, refund or other remedy in accordance with the Refund and Returns Policy and applicable South African law.
13. DELIVERY TO THE WRONG ADDRESS
Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information.
If an order is delayed, returned or requires additional courier charges because the customer supplied an incorrect or incomplete delivery address, the customer may be responsible for applicable additional delivery costs.
TSG may contact the customer to confirm delivery details where necessary.
14. FAILED DELIVERY ATTEMPTS
Where a courier is unable to complete delivery because:
- nobody is available to receive the parcel;
- the delivery address is incorrect or incomplete;
- the customer cannot be contacted;
- access to the delivery location is unavailable; or
- another circumstance attributable to the customer prevents delivery,
the courier may arrange another delivery attempt, return the parcel or apply applicable additional charges.
Where additional charges are imposed because of circumstances attributable to the customer, those charges may be payable by the customer.
15. REMOTE AND OUTLYING AREAS
Certain areas may be classified by courier providers as remote, outlying or extended-delivery areas.
Delivery to such areas may:
- take longer;
- attract additional courier charges; or
- require an alternative delivery arrangement.
Where an additional charge is required, TSG may contact the customer before dispatch where reasonably possible.
16. PUBLIC HOLIDAYS AND UNFORESEEN DELAYS
Courier services may be affected by:
- weekends;
- public holidays;
- peak trading periods;
- severe weather;
- road conditions;
- strikes;
- vehicle breakdowns;
- operational disruptions;
- national or regional emergencies; or
- other circumstances outside TSG’s reasonable control.
TSG will make reasonable efforts to assist customers where delays occur but cannot guarantee courier delivery times where the delay is outside TSG’s reasonable control.
17. HIGH-VALUE OR SPECIAL ORDERS
For high-value, bulky, sensitive or special-order products, TSG may require additional delivery arrangements.
These may include:
- delivery confirmation;
- additional identification or verification;
- special courier handling;
- collection arrangements; or
- additional delivery charges.
The customer will be informed where such arrangements materially affect the order.
18. COLLECTION
Where collection is specifically offered and agreed by TSG, the customer will be informed of the applicable collection arrangements.
Customers should not travel to a warehouse or distribution location unless collection has been confirmed by TSG.
TSG may determine the applicable collection location based on where the order is being fulfilled.
19. DELIVERY AND RETURNS
If a product needs to be returned after delivery, the applicable return and courier arrangements are governed by the TSG Refund and Returns Policy.
Where the return is required because TSG supplied the wrong product or otherwise caused the fulfilment error, TSG will arrange the appropriate return or replacement process.
Where a return is requested for a reason attributable to the customer, applicable return or courier costs may be the customer’s responsibility.
20. DELIVERY AND VEHICLE FITMENT
Delivery of a product does not constitute confirmation that the product is suitable for a particular vehicle.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate vehicle information and should confirm fitment before installation.
Where fitment assistance is requested, TSG may assist using available catalogue, supplier and vehicle information. Such assistance does not replace professional mechanical verification where required.
21. INSTALLATION
Customers should have vehicle parts installed by a suitably qualified person where appropriate.
TSG is not responsible for installation labour, diagnostic costs, towing costs or other consequential costs arising from installation of a product.
Customers should not install a product where there is uncertainty about its suitability.
22. DELIVERY CONFIRMATION
Courier tracking, delivery scans, proof of delivery and other courier records may be used as evidence of delivery.
Where a customer disputes delivery, TSG may investigate the courier records and obtain additional information from the applicable courier provider.
23. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY
Customers are responsible for:
- providing correct contact details;
- providing a complete delivery address;
- providing a valid telephone number;
- being available to receive the order where required;
- checking the order after delivery; and
- promptly reporting delivery or fulfilment problems.
24. STATUTORY RIGHTS
Nothing in this Shipping & Delivery Policy is intended to remove, restrict or limit any rights or remedies that a customer may have under applicable South African law.
Where applicable, the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA) and other relevant legislation will apply.
25. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
TSG may update this Shipping & Delivery Policy from time to time to reflect changes to its operations, courier arrangements, services or applicable legal requirements.
The updated version will be published on the applicable website.
